Sambucus Syrup
My lovely friend “H” (and no, she doesn’t live at Sesame Street!) asked about the name of the tonic I mentioned in my post yesterday.
I had to go back to Dad (via email) to ask the name of it again, as it had completely left my head.
It is Sambucus (elder or elderberry) – see Wikipidea description here. Mum and Dad said it was really great at clearing up their recent bugs – so if my cough persists I’ll be trotting down to the local Health Food Shop to buy some.
